💎 “ And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.” (Ephesians 6:18)
The spiritual warfare begins when we walk toward to the altar and even before we open our mouths to pray!
Some praying priests may feel that you are too weak to pray. You may even accuse yourself of not spiritual, not pleasing God, and as a failed Chrisitan. You may then be grief-stricken, reluctant to read His Word, and feel downward spiral of depression. Some praying priests although with big hearts are tangled with many things and cannot pray in quiet time.
Today our Abba Father reminds us that no matter how unbearable, powerless, incompetent you may feel, or even you are disappointed in yourself, He always “waits” for us to return to Him and enter His warm embrace. As long as we humbly cry out to Him, are willing to turn back and continue to walk to the altar, there are divine opportunities and blessings that He has prepared for us!
May Abba Father enlighten us today, so we are no longer cheated by the enemy and we stop self- accusations. No one is perfect. Only the perfect God reveals His perfect glory in our imperfection.
May the Holy Spirit help us. Even the enemy tries to disturb us when we walk toward to the altar, we will persevere and come to see Him face to face at the Lord’s altar. Amen!
