Dear Godās beloved Praying Priests, shalom!Ā
š āHe said to them, āWhen you pray, say: Father, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come.ā ā (Luk 11:2)
š āYours, Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendour, for everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, Lord, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all.āĀ (2Ch 29:11)
š āMany are the plans in a personās heart, but it is the Lordās purpose that prevails.ā (Pro 19:21)
The third key of prayers that Yeshua teaches the disciples is LordshipĀ ā ā Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.āĀ
After finding our true identity in Messiah as the precious sons and daughters of God, we respond to Him with the revelation of Godās Name.Ā As we declare the glory and abundance of His Name, we are proclaiming His lordship and we are calling for advancement of His Kingdom reign.
Where we allow the Lord as our Lord, there is His sovereignty.Ā Wherever the Lord reigns, it is His Kingdom.Ā In His Kingdom, because He is the head, He has the final say.Ā His will and commands will not be limited and we do not have to suffer in vain!Ā
May the Holy Spirit enlighten us this week.Ā Have you handed over our hearts, our daily schedules, our prayer life, our finances, our future dreams or even our past regretsā¦etc. all to Him?Ā Does He have the final say on everything? Ā How about our home, our workplace, our community, our people group, our city, our ministry, our church, and our countryā¦etc.?Ā Have we exalted Him as head over all? Ā
In this week, let us declare His lordship each time we pray!Ā Amen.Ā
