Dear God’s beloved Praying Priests, shalom!Ā

šŸ’Ž ā€œThis, then, is how you should pray: ā€˜Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.ā€ (Mat 6:9-12)

šŸ’Ž ā€œTherefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.Ā And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.ā€ (Col 3:12-14)

The fifth key of prayers that Yeshua teaches the disciples isĀ  Fellowship – ā€œAs we forgive our debtors.ā€

After finding our true identity in Messiah as the precious sons and daughters of God, we respond to Him with the revelation of God’s Name.Ā  When we declare the abundance and glory of His Name, we are proclaiming His lordship.Ā  As children of God, we can give thanks to Him and praise Him for our two basic needs, which are food and forgiveness.Ā  After receiving complete forgiveness from God, we are filled by His love and empowered to forgive others.Ā  Unforgiveness, however, allows hatred and bitterness to hide in your hearts, and puts our body, mind and spirit into bondages.

Several years ago in a family camp in Melbourne, Australia, one middle-aged unbelieving man shared his testimony.Ā  During his childhood, his thumb was cut off accidentally due to his uncle’s carelessness.Ā  After the replantation surgery, there was a round of scars on the thumb.Ā  When he heard about the teaching of forgiving others, he remembered this accident.Ā  Right after he said the prayer of forgiving his uncle, the scars were disappeared miraculously! Ā  When he gave this testimony in public, his believing wife was so amazed and everyone present was in awe of God and praising Him.

Dear Praying Priests, is there someone who you hate and dislike in your life?Ā  Let us ask the help of the Holy Spirit to forgive them by God’s love, re-establish the relations and restore the fellowship of love!
