Dear Godās beloved Praying Priests, shalom!
š āThis, then, is how you should pray: āOur Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.ā (Mat 6:9-13)
š āFor from him and through him and for him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen.ā (Rom 11:36)
š āyet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live. The sixth key of prayers that Yeshua teaches the disciples is Leadership ā āLead us not into temptation but deliver us from the evil one.ā (1Co 8:6)
The seventh and also the last key of prayers that Yeshua teaches the disciples is ownership ā ā For yours is the Kingdom and the power and the glory forever.ā This prayer was included in some manuscripts and used by the believers through the ages.
After finding our true identity in Messiah as the precious sons and daughters of God, we respond to Him with the revelation of Godās Name. When we declare the abundance and glory of His Name, we are proclaiming His lordship. As children of God, we can give thanks to Him and praise Him for our two basic needs, which are food and forgiveness. After receiving complete forgiveness from God, we are filled by His love and empowered to forgive others. When facing spiritual warfares, we ask for Godās leading and protection.
However, the key for us to become His children, to declare the glory of His Name, to proclaim the manifestation of His Kingdom, to receive daily bread and forgiveness, to forgive others with His love, and to receive His protection from evil is to recognise the ownership of God and do not steal His glory!
The Lordās Prayer begins with worship and praises, and it also ends with worship and praises. Our focus should not be the gifts or experiences from Him, and the focus is our God who gives! May the Lord help us to fix our eyes on Him and allow Messiah to take in charge in all things. Amen!
