Dear Godās beloved Praying Priests, shalom!Ā
š āHe who has an ear, let him hear what the Ruach (Spirit) is saying to Messiahās communities.ā (Rev 2:7, TLV)
š āMy sheep hear My voice. I know them, and they follow Me.ā (Jhn 10:27, TLV)
š āAdonai spoke to Moses, saying: āHowever, the tenth day of this seventh month is Yom Kippur, a holy convocation to you, so you are to afflict yourselves. You are to bring an offering made by fire to Adonai.ā ā (Lev 23:26-27, TLV)
š āIn a large house there are articles not only of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay; some are for special purposes and some for common use. Those who cleanse themselves from the latter will be instruments for special purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work.ā (2Ti 2:21)Ā
To listen to Godās voice is to understand Godās will.
Rev. Peter Yang, the spiritual cover of BBPN, once said that the most critical thing for preachers is to teach their congregations to listen to Godās voice!Ā
If we cannot hear Godās voice, there is no way for us to receive and recognize His will, let alone to follow His footsteps! If you hear correctly, you can respond correctly, and you can pray more clearly.Ā
In the āWarriors of the Lamb Prayer & Revival Conferenceā which was held in Taipei this July, Rev. Donald Young from College of Prayer International reminded us to take heed of the āGoogle gospel!āĀ Bible is the primary tool that God uses to speak to us. However, are we faithful to Godās Word in our daily life? Do we find answers from the Bible for everything? Or do we always go to the Internet and acquire answers from āMr. Googleā?Ā The high technology brings us convenience, but Father never gave us high technologies to replace His voice!Ā
Yom Kippur begins at the sundown today. According to the teachings in Leviticus, the Jewish people fast and pray to ask for Godās forgiveness. Today let us also humble our hearts before God. Are we faithful to His Word? May the Holy Spirit reveal us that if there are any hidden faults or willful sins individually and corporately. Let us pray together to ask for His forgiveness and purification, so we cleanse ourselves and are made holy and usual to the Master for special purposes.Ā Amen!
