🍞 Manna for Meditation 50

Dear God’s beloved Praying Priests, shalom! 

💎 “But the Helper, the Ruach ha-Kodesh（Holy Spirit) whom the Father will send in My name, will teach you everything and remind you of everything that I said to you.” (Jhn 14:26, TLV)

💎 “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” (Psm 119:105, TLV)

💎 “He who walks with wise men is wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm.” (Pro 13:20, TLV)

💎 “I will set the key of the house of David upon his shoulder—what he opens, no one can shut; what he shuts, and no one can open.” (Isa 22:22, TLV)

To listen to God’s voice is to understand God’s will. If you hear correctly, you can respond correctly, and you can pray clearly!

From the experience of Prophet Samuel, we see clearly that hearing God’s voice is a skill that can be trained.

When an airplane is landing, there are lights and markings on both sides of the runway to guide the right direction and prevent the aircraft from deviating from the taxiway and causing serious casualties. When we practice listening to God’s voice, we also need to discern clearly and seek confirmations to ensure a safe landing. 

Is the voice we hear true to Scripture? Does it contradict God’s character? Even if it is a warning, does it make us humble, contrite and repent for our sins?  Does it exalt Yeshua or ourselves? Does it induce faith or fear and separation from God? Does it let God take control and advance His Kingdom? Are there any other ways to confirm it?

God will confirm publicly the thoughts and convictions that He puts in our hearts.

1.Rhema

Do you have any specific Bible verse as the confirmation?  Which Logos, the Word of God in the Bible, is your Rhema? Rhema is the specific response that the Holy Spirit speaks to you through Scripture. 

2.Blessings from the Spiritual Covers/Mentors

It is impossible for us to submit to the invisible God if we cannot even submit ourselves to the earthly spiritual cover. 

3.Open Doors

Does God open the ways in our environments? For no word from God will ever fail. We don’t need to go before God and use our own strength to open the door. It is the most beautiful thing to wait patiently for Him to open the doors for us! 

We need all the three lights of Rhema, Blessings from the Spiritual Covers/Mentors, and the open doors as the runway lights to direct us and keep us from going astray. In the Name of Yeshua, we bless each one of us, God’s beloved sheep, to hear His voice, recognize His voice and follow His voice.  Amen!
