Dear God’s beloved Praying Priests, shalom!
“And do not get drunk on wine, for that is recklessness. Instead, be filled with the Ruach (Spirit).” (Eph 5:18, TLV)
“For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Ruach set their minds on the things of the Ruach. For the mindset of the flesh is death, but the mindset of the Ruach is life and shalom.” (Rom 8:5-6, TLV)
Rev. Donald Young from College of Prayer International said, “If you are not under the control of the Holy Spirit, you are out of control.”
Our life has to be driven by the Holy Spirit, otherwise we will become like the alcoholics who are unconscious, lost their sense of direction, speak nonsense, or even face the threat of death!
When we say the sinner’s prayer, we accept Yeshua as our Saviour and Lord of our lives. If we are used to holding the steering wheel of life life tightly with our hands, now is the time to let go and hand it over to the Holy Spirit for enjoying life and shalom.
Please take heed that Satan attacks children of God by pressing the brake or the accelerator. He presses the brake pedal to make us afraid and stop moving forward; he presses the gas pedal to crush us in ignorance. The safest way of driving is not holding the steering wheel with our hands tightly, as we are too busy to resist the enemy. Ratter, it is welcoming the Holy Spirit to drive!
This week, let us hand our lives over to the Lord once again as we listen to this song. “All To Jesus I Surrender”
