🍞 Manna for Meditation 53

Dear God’s beloved Praying Priests, shalom! 

“Therefore it says, ‘When He went up on high, He led captive a troop of captives and gave gifts to his people.’”（Eph 4:8, TLV)

” ‘ But you will receive power when the Ruach ha-Kodesh (Holy Spirit) has come upon you; and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and through all Judah, and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.’ After saying all this – while they were watching – He was taking up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. While they staring into heaven as He went up, suddenly two men stood with them in white clothing. They said, ‘ Men of Galilee, why do you keep standing here staring into heaven? This Yeshua, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw Him go into heaven.'” (Act 1:8-11, TLV)

” Then Ruach Adonai is one me, because He has anointed me to proclaim Good News to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set free the oppressed, and to proclaim the year of Adonai’s favour.”  (Luk 4:18-19, TLV)

”As for you, the anointing you received from Him remains in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you. But as His anointing teaches you about all things—and it is true and not a lie—and just as it has taught you, abide in Him.”（1 Jhn 2:27, TLV）

“Amen, amen I tell you, he who puts his trust in Me, the works that I do he will do; and greater than these he will do, because I am going to the Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it.”（Jhn 14:12-14, TLV）

When we have an accurate and complete view of Yeshua, we will have a healthy prayer life.  When we have an accurate view of the ascended and anointed Messiah, our prayers will be full of power and hope. 

The ascended Messiah displays His power and authority. The ascended Messiah provides all kinds of spiritual gifts to us.  The ascended Messiah empowers to witness. The ascended Messiahs promises us that He will come again. Hallelujah! 

Messiah means “the anointed one”.  The anointed Yeshua also anoints us. The anointing we receive from Yeshua is true and abides in our hearts. Te anointed Yeshua anoints us to minister and pray in His name.  He preaches Good news to the poor, He proclaims freedom for the prisoners, He recovers sight for the blind, and He sets the oppressed free. We will do whatever He does and even greater things. The anointed Yeshua also promises us that If we ask Him anything in His name, He will do it! 

Let us meditate on the ascended and anointed Messiah and encounter Him in our worship and prayers this week!
