đDear Godâs beloved Praying Priests, shalom!
đ âBut you will receive power when the Ruach ha-Kodesh ďźHoly Spirit) has come upon you; and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and through all Judah, and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.â (Act 1:8, TLV)
đ âWhile they were serving the Lord and fasting, the Ruach ha-Kodesh said, âSet apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.ââ (Act 13:2, TLV)
Pray first and then serve
In Acts 1:8, Yeshua released the strategies of global missions on the disciples before His ascension. In Acts 2, the disciples gathered in the upper room on the day of Shavuot (Pentecost) to pray and seek God's face. They were filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke in other tongues to minister people from various regions. The disciples pray first and then minister.
Serve God first and then serve people
Saul, Barnabas, and several other brothers gathered in the church at Antioch. Firstly, they fasted, prayed, sought God's face and served Him. Then they were commissioned by the Holy Spirit to do the work of God. The first assignment for Saul and Barnabas was to serve God, and the second was to serve people.
đâAsk Me, and I will give the nations as Your inheritance, and the far reaches of the earth as Your possession.â (Psm 2:8, TLV)
BBPN's mission is to mobilise global missions empowered by a prayer movement. We have always been practicing praying before serving, and serving God before serving people. No matter where you are, may each and every Praying Priest worship and exalt Yeshua first, receive the great outpouring of the Holy Spirit, and then ask the Lord of the harvest to give us the nations! Amen.
