šŸž Manna for Meditation 63

šŸ’ž Dear Royal Praying Priests, shalom!

šŸ’Ž ā€œHave I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.ā€ (Jos 1:9)

šŸ’Ž ā€œOverhearingĀ what they said, Jesus told him,Ā ā€˜Donā€™t be afraid; just believe.ā€™ā€ (Mak 5:36)

šŸ’Ž ā€œBe on the alert! Stand firm in the faith! Be men of courage! Be strong!ā€ (1Co 16:13)

The Lord called us Burning Bush Prayer Network from the great story of Moses receiving his divine calling and challenging Pharaoh with Godā€™s command ā€œLet my people go!ā€ Moses is a man of strong faith and good courage. When Joshua is raised to take over Mosesā€™ place, Godā€™s words to Joshua which repeat three times are ā€œBe strong and courageous.ā€

Yeshua speaks to Jairus, the synagogue leader, ā€œDonā€™t be afraid, just believe.ā€ Despite the jeers and mocking laughter from the crowd as He seems arriving late, the daughter of Jairus is raised from the dead! In another account, even the wind and the sea obey Yeshua, as He calms the storm and demonstrates His power over nature. (Mak 4:35-41) We do not have to fear the unknown because we are certain that our God knows everything. He is always in control, and even the circumstances have to submit to His command.

Courage has always been a necessary quality when the people of God stand firm in obedience and do His will. Courage is not a self-generated virtue or inner strength; courage is always produced by faith.

2020 is our Year of Advancing. Surely there are adventures and challenges ahead of us as we are called to enlarge our territories and exert a greater impact on H2Z (From Mountains of Heaven to Mount Zion) Prayer Movement. Let us overcome our fear by prayer in faith. Our strength does not come from within; it comes from the Lord.

Do not be afraid, just believe.

Be strong and courageous! Amen.
