šŸž Manna for Meditation 64

šŸ’ž Dear Royal Praying Priests, shalom!

šŸ’Ž ā€œAll the ends of the earth will remember and turn to theĀ Lord, and all the families of the nations will bow down before him, for dominion belongs to theĀ Lord and he rules over the nations.ā€ (Psa 22:27-28)

šŸ’Ž ā€œBut when they saw Him walking on the sea, they thought He was a ghost and cried outā€” for they all saw Him and were terrified. But immediately, He spoke to them. He said, ā€˜Take courage! I am. Do not be afraid.ā€™ Then He got into the boat with them, and the wind stopped. They were utterly dumbfounded.ā€ (Mak 6:49-51, TLV)

Our God reigns forever and He is moving today yet we may not feel it or see it. Often times our hearts are troubled by the bad news reports around the world which sometimes make us lose sight of it. We may easily get into despair and hopelessness if we completely forget His sovereignty and only focus on what the devil wants us to believe.

When the wind was strong and against the sailing of the twelve disciples on the Sea of Galilee at night, Yeshua did not leave them behind. He walked out to His chosen ones and walked on the water. All the twelve saw Him but none could recognise Him in their distress! They overlooked and believed the one who came to rescue them as a ghost, so everyone freaked out. Still Yeshua spoke to them in their dismay! As soon as they heard His voice, Yeshua got into the boat with them and the wind stopped immediately.

May the Lord open our eyes to see what is happening around us in this world through the lens of His love and His reign over it. May He also open our ears to hear His voice for embracing His presence in our circumstances.

All creation bows before Him. He reigns, He rules, and He is higher than any earthly king and greater than any earthly thing. Amen.
