💞 Dear Royal Praying Priests, shalom!

💎 “Truly I tell you, among those born of women there has not risen anyone greater than John the Baptist; yet whoever is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.” (Mat 11:11)

💎 “As for me, I immerse you in water for repentance. But the One coming after me is mightier than I am; I am not worthy to carry His sandals. He will immerse you in the Ruach ha-Kodesh (Holy Spirit) and fire.” (Mat 3:11, TLV)

Are you greater than the Prophet Isaiah and King David?

Everything Yeshua says is the truth and He always tells us the truth. Whenever He says, “truly I tell you…”, it means that the following of His Word is hard for us to comprehend but He wants us to know it is true.

Yeshua tells us that among those born of women, none has arisen greater than John the Baptist. Both the Prophet Isaiah and King David were born of women a long time before John the Baptist came to earth. Therefore, John the Baptist is far greater than Isaiah and David. This is the truth.

Yeshua continues to say that whoever is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than John the Baptist. Are we the least in the kingdom of heaven? Yes, then we are greater than John the Baptist. Since John the Baptist is greater than the Prophet Isaiah and King David, we surely are greater than both of them. This is the truth!

But, in what way are we greater than John the Baptist, the Prophet Isaiah and King Daivd?

John the Baptist says that Yeshua is more powerful than he, and he is not worthy to carry His sandals. Yeshua must increase while he must decrease (Jhn 3:30). John the Baptist points out Yeshua more directly than anyone else before him, and it’s what makes him greatest among those born of women.

We are not greater than the Prophet Isaiah in prophesying, neither are we greater than King David in military strategies and battles. BUT, we are greater because we are the messengers for Yeshua and we are called to prepare the way for His Second Coming!

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for opening our hearts and minds to Your truth. We are Your messengers and we are ambassadors for Messiah! (Mat 11:10, 2Co 5:20) With your help, I want to point the lost world to Your beloved Son Yeshua in my prayers, in whatever I do and with whoever I meet. In Yeshua’s Name, Amen.
