The Yedidya Centre believe God has established Israel and the IDF (Israel Defense Force) and He has called the young men and women of the Body of Messiah in Israel to serve their required time in the IDF and to be salt and light during this service.

​

Every year there are more and more believers in the IDF.  When Israel became a state there was 1 known believer in the IDF.  Today there are over 500 believers in Yeshua in the IDF who serve together in different units and in all ranks.  There is a great and growing need for spiritual and emotional counselling and support for these young believers who often struggle with many confronting issues such as “life and death”, “bearing arms”, “loving our enemies”, “trauma and post-trauma,” “isolation”, and “growing in your faith amidst persecution.”

The IDF does not provide chaplaincy and instead directs soldiers to seek that from their local faith community.

The Yedidya Centre serves those who risk their lives for Israel.  They offer them rest from front-line fatigue and a listening heart to share their challenges with the purpose of keeping and strengthening their faith in Yeshua.

They seek to provide pastoral care, fellowship, counselling and encouragement for soldiers before, during and after their active duty. The Yedidya Project, launched in 2017, is an initiative specifically geared towards trauma healing for those who have served in positions of active combat.

  • Pray for God’s supernatural protections for all IDF soldiers.

  • Pray for God’s healing, restoration and peace for all IDF soldiers.

  • Pray for God’s provisions for the ministry of Yedidya Centre.
